The stick's path to the shot is very important. The stick lays on the bridge's road, the widest and the longest this road, the better.
Keep the bridge firm and stable. Do have this road straight relative to the shot's line and keep the stick on this road all the way through. There will be some friction while the stick is swinging back and forth while on your hand. You may make this friction less
by putting some baby powder on the stick and your hand. Don't put gloves on your hand. Let your hand feel the wood.
It may take some time to get familiar with this feeling, but do let it happen.
