We have introduced a certain procedure to accomplish a "stance style" to reach a particular type of shooting in witch the
stick is put flat on the table's edge , almost parallel to the shot line and makes the ball move forward once hit.
We know well that all and every part of these is debatable but we keep teaching this method till we get a better one and
once that is reached, we will change all or even a single part of method and do inform others through our academy door way. Let us review the taken "stance style" stages so far and get ready for the cue action. 1: sighting. Pick a stick (your own is preferable) and stand about it's length apart from the table. Sight the shot 2: approach. Walk straight to the shot line. 3: halt. Stop to see if you did it right and get ready for next ones. 4: right hand. The one hand holding the stick with. Check the fingers & palm forming a fist, wrist not curled or twisted,
fore arm and elbow plus upper arm and shoulder in one plane and all pointing vertically to the floor, shoulder locked. 5: left hand. Palm flat on the table (open bridge), thumb &fore finger form the longest straight and stabled path to the shot,
wrist to elbow dropped flat on the table. 6: right foot. Knee straight and not bent at all. 7: left foot. About the players shoulder's width apart from the right foot, knee bend only if needed to lower height. 8: waist. Lean to right side and do bend if capable but keep the chest away from the stick's moving line. 9: Neck & Head. Align them with the shot line but do not have them tilted or twisted. Chin on the stick if possible. 10: Check point. Review the taken stages so far and if felt anything wrong, get up and go back to the very first stage(sighting)
and start just right from the beginning all over again. This is going to be much better than taking the shot wrong, right? Have you ever heard a player's saying: I knew that I was going to miss that shot. Don't be "Him".
