Upper body is divided in to two major parts; one is from the waist to the neck and the other from the neck to the head.
Let's take a look at the first part first. If a player desires to lean forward to get in the same plane with the shot line horizontally for a more precise aiming point then a
care should be taken for not having any pain and shall not lean too much if not prepared physically. Once down on the shot don't take too long there, it is not an easy position to breathe right. By leaning forward and lowering your height you will lose your third sighting dimension (height that is). It is also a harder
position to be in to but you will be more close to the shot. Bending your left knee forward makes your hip move. Make sure this movement is side way, toward your stick's holding hand
till it touches your thumb's skin while the thumb is wrapped around the stick. Feel this touching position while
swinging your stick back and forth as a sensor device to check to see the stick moves in the shot line direction and stays
in this same line. By doing this move the body's center line will come back to it's correct position which gives you more stability. Your hip and butt should not be pushed back while leaning forward or else you are throwing your body pulled back from the shot.
Hip and Butt alignment will help many players to get balanced and make the body be back centered and aligned to the shot line. Keep your chest away from the stick. Have your upper body stretched and do not drop your chest on the stick. Chest is neither a
stable nor a trustable part to depend on. Don't let your right hand touch any part of your chest through out your shooting or
else your stick will be thrown out and away from the shot line. Bending is not a must.
